AAMBC's Black Writer's Weekend Continues to Amplify Black Voices

Newhouse and her business partner, LaQ'uita Adams, buckled down for the cause they believe in and reemerged with a revolutionary approach to Black Writer's Weekend 2020.

African American Authors on the Move Book Club (AAMBC) is one of the veteran hubs of the web known for amplifying black voices. You may have heard of their tenacious Creator, Tamika Newhouse.

Newhouse, an author as well, is also the creator of one of (if not the largest) celebration of black literacy - Black Writer's Weekend. It is a festival which is held in the mecca for black creatives, Atlanta, Ga. This year, just like the festival's past few years, was expected to be one for the books - panels filled with the wisdom of veteran authors and inspiration for new authors.

Newhouse and her business partner, LaQ'uita Adams, buckled down for the cause they believe in and reemerged with a revolutionary approach to Black Writer's Weekend 2020.

Read the entire interview here as she reveals how the festivities will go on, and find out how you can still be a part of this year's celebrations.
