It has been nearly 20 years since I picked up one of the first books that would seal the fate of my love for urban stories.
When reading these tales, I learned two things:
1) they were better than any movie I had seen
2) I cant wait to write stories of my own, exploring my imagination and captivating people the way I am captivated right now.
One of those books was Thieves Paradise by none other than the great Eric Jerome Dickey. His work carried a torch, a flame that was a wildfire, and it ignited everyone who had the pleasure of being immersed in his creativity.
